Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales & Education Executive to join our Fragrance brands Travel Retail West in Continental Europe. This role will be responsible for our Travel Retail business in North Europe. The preferred location for the role is in close proximity to one of the major airports in Germany or Austria. The role will report to our Area Sales and Operations Manager.

The role involves leading, recruiting, coaching, developing and managing a team of Counter Managers and Beauty Advisors. The engagement, motivation, and training of the generic staff is also key to the role. As a Sales and Education Executive you will work closely with the Regional Education Manager to identify and support with the education needs of your team including the execution of branded module trainings both in store and on line.

It is important for the Sales and Education Executive to ensure the brand looks it best at all times by ensuring any Visual Merchandising guidelines are adhered to, maintaining store standards including tester orders, hygiene standards and counter maintenance. It also involves establishing and maintaining excellent working relationships with key stake holders including our retail partners, Head Office departments, Education, Visual Merchandising, Digital and HR teams.

This is a field-based role with 80% of the time spent in the field. This is a particularly autonomous role requiring the selected candidate to work on their own initiative.

Qualifications

Candidates should have a proven track record in the successful achievement of field sales targets within a luxury retail environment, with experience working in Travel Retail being a distinct benefit. It also requires a strong background in education / training and multi-site people management. Travel Retail is a fast paced, pressurized, entrepreneurial environment and candidates should have a positive, flexible, self-motivated and committed approach. Excellent communication and leadership skills combined with strong commercial awareness and business acumen are required. Proficient English language is essential. Travel from home to visit accounts is also expected up to four days a week.
