What you'll expect
  • Lead and inspire an international sales team of 5 professionals
  • Develop and implement a strategy to win new and grow existing customers
  • Take an active role in sales with direct responsibility for revenue and margins
  • Develop and execute strategies for customer acquisition and retention
  • Build long-term partnerships with key accounts in the European pet food industry
  • Collaborate with innovation, logistics, and procurement teams to identify new business opportunities
  • Represent IQI at international trade shows and conferences
  • Create annual sales plans with quarterly forecasts
  • Coach your team in consultative selling techniques
  • Execute market analysis, including competition, scan & search new customers, analyse and report on trends and developments in the Pet Food market(s)
What we expect from you
  • Several years of experience in sales, ideally within the pet food industry
  • Proven leadership experience in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Track record of building profitable sales pipelines
  • Strong commercial mindset and strategic thinking
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills
  • Structured and self-driven work style with a hands-on attitude
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, high energy, and team orientation
  • Willingness to travel approximately 40% of the time
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
