The Account Manager will acquire new customers and further develop existing clients in the segments of artisan bakery, pastry, chocolaterie, and confectionery. This is a home-office-based position, with approximately 80% field activity expected.
Establish and expand Barry Callebaut and its brands as the No. 1 partner for chocolate and cocoa products in the above-mentioned segments.
Acquire new customers and maximize potential within existing contacts in the Gourmet division: artisan bakery, pastry, chocolaterie, and confectionery.
Value selling of our entire portfolio: innovative product concepts, technical application support and consulting, and marketing support both at POS and digitally (including social media).
Build and strengthen sustainable, long-term, and reliable customer relationships.
Proactively collaborate and communicate with Marketing, Customer Care, and the Chocolate Academy Center™.
Support customers in their forecast planning.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in the CRM system (Salesforce).
Conduct competitive analyses and monitor market trends.
Experience in bakery, pastry, chocolaterie, or confectionery, or comparable sales experience in the relevant market.
In-depth knowledge of the described segments and a strong network within regional decision-making structures on the user side.
Proven sales experience in the artisan food sector, ideally in chocolate or bakery products.
Fluent in German; good command of English.
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
Experience with CRM systems; knowledge of Salesforce and SAP is an advantage.
