Jobbeschreibung

Who We Are:

We build the intelligence that lets robots sense, reason, and act in the real world—moving beyond the lab and into everyday industrial settings like warehouses and factories. Our technology closes the automation gaps that traditional systems can’t solve. We are on a mission to redefine how physical work gets done, and we’re looking for curious, bold thinkers to help shape the future of robotics with us.

Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Robotics Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of robotics projects. In this role, you will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure the seamless integration of robotic solutions into operational environments. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in robotics or automation, excellent project management skills, and the ability to drive innovation and efficiency. This role requires a high level of ownership and the ability to manage business changes in a fast-paced environment.

Your Responsibilities:

Project Management

  • Lead and oversee the full project lifecycle of robotics development and implementation, from planning and feasibility to execution and post-launch support.

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Develop and maintain project timelines, resource allocation plans, and budgets.

  • Coordinate with engineering, software development, and operations teams to ensure project success.

  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with safety and industry regulations.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, leadership, and technical teams.

  • Monitor project progress, conduct performance evaluations, and provide regular reports.

  • Facilitate problem-solving and drive continuous improvement within project teams.

  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of components and services.

  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in robotics and automation.

  • Lead technical design reviews and propose design solutions that align with business needs and industry standards.

  • Assess and communicate project status, manage escalations, and track potential risks and delays.

  • Support procurement processes by providing technical specifications and insights.

  • Willing to travel (50%) to locations in Europe and occasionally to international sites.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in project management within the robotics, automation, or industrial engineering sectors.

Skills

  • Exceptional communication skills; English at C2 level , German at B2 level or higher.

  • Strong understanding of robotics technologies, AI-driven automation, and system integration.

  • Experience working within a fast-paced work environment and coordinating with engineering contractors.

  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).

  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

  • Experience with project management tools (Linear, Jira, Asana, etc.).

Additional Skills / Nice to Have

  • Experience working with AI-based robotics solutions.

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for robotic systems.

  • Familiarity with programming languages (Python, C++, ROS) is a plus.

  • Comfortable shifting between detailed technical analysis and high-level strategic thinking.

  • Strong influencing skills with the ability to connect the dots at an organizational, strategic, and project level.

  • Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.

  • Outstanding verbal/written communication skills and the ability to present to senior leaders.

  • PMP or similar certification is a plus.

Our interview plan:
  • Application

  • Take‑home assignment: You’ll work on a short, role‑relevant task with clear instructions and a deadline.
