Job summary

STAR Specialists in Hamburg is seeking an experienced Risk Manager (m/f/d) to oversee risk across multiple construction and infrastructure projects from bidding through construction. You will drive identification, evaluation, mitigation, and escalation of risks to the Project SteerCo and Finance Director.

You will lead risk workshops, perform scenario analyses and Schedule Risk Analysis, keep risk registers updated, and report QRA results to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of major construction and infrastructure projects.
• Extensive experience in project risk management.
• Solid understanding of risk management tools such as SAFRAN and Active Risk Manager.
• Previous experience managing risk on major construction or civil engineering projects across design, manufacturing and construction phases.
• Practical experience with Schedule Risk Analysis, Stress Testing, Pre-Mortem and QRA.
• Experience preparing and presenting risk information to Board-level stakeholders, Project Directors and Senior Project Managers.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Project Risk Workshops and Stress Test Workshops.
• Carry out scenario assessments, what-if analysis and Schedule Risk Analysis.
• Keep project risk registers accurate, complete and regularly updated.
• Report QRA results and potential project contingency requirements to relevant stakeholders.
