Job summary

The Mobility House sucht einen Risk Controller, der direkt dem CFO berichtet und eng mit dem Senior Management zusammenarbeitet. Sie analysieren operative, Markt- und Kreditrisiken aus Handelsaktivitäten und entwickeln Risikomodelle sowie Berichte für das Trading Desk und die Geschäftsführung.

Sie evaluieren Portfolios, arbeiten an Risikomanagement-Strategien mit und unterstützen die Einhaltung von EMIR/MiFID II.

Qualifications

• Abgeschlossenes Studium in relevanten Fachrichtungen
• Berufserfahrung im Risk Controlling, idealerweise im Trading-Umfeld
• Fundierte Kenntnisse von Risikomethoden und -kennzahlen
• Erfahrung mit relevanten Tools und Systemen
• Analytische Denkweise + IT-Affinität
• Fließendes Deutsch und Englisch, schriftlich und mündlich

Responsibilities

• Überwachung und Analyse operativer, Markt-, Kredit- und Liquiditätsrisiken (Front Office)
• Bewertung von Portfolios und Trading-Strategien
• Entwicklung von Risikomodellen, Limiten und Stresstests
• Erstellung und Weiterentwicklung von Risikoberichten
• Überwachung von Positionsgrenzen und Gegenparteirisiken
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Front Office, Middle Office, Treasury, IT und Compliance
• Weiterentwicklung der Risikopolitik im Kontext von Markt- und Regulierungen (EMIR, MiFID II)

Deine Aufgaben

• As a Risk Controller, you will report directly to the CFO. This position offers close exposure to strategic decision‑making while working in partnership with senior management and key stakeholders across the business
• Monitoring and analysis of operational, market, credit, and liquidity risks arising from trading activities (Front Office)
• Evaluation of portfolios and trading strategies regarding risk‑return ratios (e.g., VaR, P&L attribution, sensitivity analyses)
• Development and maintenance of risk models, limit systems, and stress tests for trading activities
• Preparation and ongoing development of daily risk reporting for the trading desk and management
• Monitoring of position limits, counterparty exposures, and trading strategies
• Close collaboration with Front Office, Middle Office, Treasury, IT, and Compliance
• Contribution to the further development of risk policy in the context of market changes and regulations (e.g., EMIR, MiFID II)

Das bringst du mit

• Completed degree in Business, Mathematics, Physics, Finance, or a related field
• Professional experience in risk controlling, ideally within a trading environment (energy, commodities, derivatives, FX, fixed income, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of risk methodologies and metrics (e.g., Value‑at‑Risk, stress testing, backtesting)
• Experience with relevant tools and systems (e.g., ETRM/CTRM systems, Bloomberg, Matlab, Python, SQL, Power BI)
• Analytical mindset, strong IT aptitude, and a proactive approach
• Fluent written and spoken German and English
