Job summary

Creotech Instruments S.A. is seeking an experienced RF Systems Engineer with an MSc or PhD in Electrical, Telecommunication or Aerospace Engineering and 3+ years in RF systems. You will lead RF engineering activities for satellite projects and perform trade‑off analyses across the system lifecycle.

Excellent English and the ability to work under pressure in multidisciplinary teams are essential. Experience with ECSS, SDR/DSP or Python is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of RF systems engineering experience, preferably in space/satellite/aerospace or telecom.
• Strong RF/microwave knowledge: link budgets, noise analysis, frequency planning, architectures.
• Ability to derive technical requirements and perform system-level or subsystem analyses.
• Experience with RF payloads, satellite comms, or complex RF subsystems.

Creotech Instruments S.A. is a Polish manufacturer and integrator of satellites and satellite systems. Using our proprietary HyperSat platform, we design, manufacture, integrate and test satellites, and also support their launch and in-orbit operations. We’re looking for an engineer with an MSc or PhD in Electrical, Telecommunication or Aerospace Engineering (or related) and 3+ years of experience in RF systems engineering, ideally in the space or telecom sector. You should know RF and microwave principles, including link budgets, noise analysis and frequency planning, have worked with RF payloads or complex RF subsystems, and be confident in trade‑off analyses, deriving requirements and preparing technical documentation. Very good English and the ability to work under pressure in multidisciplinary teams are essential. Experience with ECSS, design reviews, ESA projects, SDR/DSP or Python will be a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Leading RF systems engineering efforts in satellite projects throughout the entire system lifecycle
• Performing RF payload or RF subsystem level trade‑off analyses
• Preparing and oversight of technical documentation
• Technical management of subcontractors or suppliers of RF subsystems and partners within project consortiums

Basic qualifications:

• MSc or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in RF systems engineering, preferably within the space, satellite, aerospace, or telecommunications industry;
• Strong understanding of RF and microwave engineering principles, including link budgets, noise analysis, frequency planning, and RF subsystem architectures;
• Experience performing system‑level or subsystem‑level trade‑off analyses and deriving technical requirements;
• Experience with RF payloads, satellite communication systems, or complex RF subsystems;
• Ability to prepare, review, and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, requirements, interface documents, and test plans;
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary engineering teams;
• Ability to work effectively under pressure;
• Very good English in speaking and writing.

Preferred qualifications:

• Knowledge and practical experience with ECSS
• Experience participating in customer reviews, design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR), and technical decision‑making processes;
• Experience in working with European Space Agency, European Commission and European Defense Agency.;
• Demonstrated experience leading RF engineering activities in complex development projects;
• Knowledge of software‑defined radios (SDR) and digital signal processing (DSP)
• Experience with scripting language (Python)
• Well established understanding of systems engineering processes;
• Hands‑on experience in requirements definition and management using Doors‑like requirements management tool
• Experience in working on systems with flight heritage (TRL 9);
