Advantest Europe GmbH in Böblingen sucht eine erfahrene Fachkraft im RF/Mikrowellen-Bereich zur Leitung technischer Interfaces mit strategischen Kunden. Sie arbeiten eng mit R&D-Teams zusammen, evaluieren neue Produktfähigkeiten und treiben Produktintroductions voran.

Sie verfügen über ≥5 Jahre Erfahrung im RF-/Mikrowellen-Testing, Kenntnisse in Messparametern, Skripten und automatisierten Workflows, sowie fließendes Englisch und Führungsqualitäten. Reisetätigkeit bis 25% wird erwartet.

Qualifikationen

• Abgeschlossenes Studium in Elektrotechnik, RF/Mikrowellentechnik oder verwandtem Feld.
• Mindestens 5 Jahre Erfahrung in RF- oder Mikrowellen-Halbleiter-Tests, Charakterisierung oder ATE-basierte RF-Entwicklung.
• Praxisnahe Expertise mit RF-Testinstrumenten und -Techniken (z. B. S-Parameter, EVM, ACPR, Rauschfigur, Linearität).
• Kenntnisse in Testprogrammentwicklung, Skriptsprachen und automatisierten Testabläufen (V93000 bevorzugt).
• Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.
• Führungserfahrung und Projektmanagement nachweislich vorhanden.

Aufgaben

• Primärer technischer Ansprechpartner für strategische Kunden bei der Entwicklung RF-/Wireless-ICs.
• Neue Produktfähigkeiten evaluieren, Debugging, Korrelation und Testoptimierung.
• Schulungen und Einführung neuer Produkte unterstützen.
• Beratung zu Passformen, Charakterisierung und Produktions-Testentwicklung für RF, mmWave&Amp; Wireless.
• Zusammenarbeit mit globalen R&D-Teams Einflussnahme auf RF-Hardware/Software.
• Koordination mit Marketing, Support und Produkt-Engineering bei Roadmaps und Testmethoden.
• Best Practices, Dokumentation und Schulungsmaterialien im RF-Bereich entwickeln.
• RF-Expertise für die V93000-Plattform bei Kundenevents vertreten.

Your Responsibilities

Customer & Project Leadership

• Serve as the primary technical interface for strategic customers developing RF and wireless ICs
• Drive new product capability evaluations, debugging, correlation and test optimization activities across both customer sites and R&D teams
• Drive new product introductions
• Consult product fit discussions, characterization and production test development for RF, mmWave & wireless devices like Front end modules, Transceivers and RF SOCs
• Innovation & Cross Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with global R&D teams to influence RF hardware, software and measurement feature development
• Collaborate with product marketing, customer support and product engineering to define roadmaps and test methodologies
• Develop and share RF-focused best practices, documentation and training materials
• Represent RF expertise for the V93000 platform for customer facing events

Your Qualifications

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, RF/Microwave Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in RF or microwave semiconductor testing, characterization, or ATE-based RF development.
• Hands‑on expertise with RF test instrumentation and techniques (e.g., S parameters, EVM, ACPR, noise figure, linearity, modulation metrics).
• Proficiency with test program development, scripting languages, and automated test workflows (V93000 experience preferred).
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and project management experience.

Preferred Experience

• Experience testing 5G/6G transceivers, UWB, WiFi, Bluetooth, RF front-end modules, for wireless connectivity chipsets.
• Linux, C/Java/Python experience
• Familiarity with semiconductor ATE equipment such as handlers and wafer probers.
• Background working in cross‑functional global environment.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required (up to 25%, Asia, US).
