Ericsson Rosenheim is seeking an RF Propagation and Antenna Engineer to advance mobile network performance through antenna and system-level simulations. You will analyze base station antenna products, contribute to network tools, and drive studies on antenna and system requirements with R&D and product teams.

The role requires strong RF/antenna expertise, proficiency in Python and MATLAB, and experience with HFSS/CST. English communication is essential; German is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• A Master’s or above in electrical engineering, communications engineering, or equivalent.
• Excellent knowledge of channel modelling, cellular networks and MIMO systems
• Advanced Python and MATLAB knowledge
• Experience in antenna simulations software like HFSS, CST
• Experience in developing statistical models and solutions for predictive data analysis and machine learning
• Good understanding of 3GPP standard and cellular networks
• Good understanding of Passive intermodulation
• Strong understanding of RF and antenna principles
• Understanding of Base station antenna architectures, especially AAS products
• Scientific expertise or work experience in research projects is an advantage
• Work experience across interdisciplinary teams
• Teamwork mentality
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective written and spoken communications skill in English
• German language knowledge is an advantage.

Join our Team Join Ericsson Antenna Systems Rosenheim (Germany) as an RF Propagation and Antenna Engineer for Mobile Network Performance Simulation, where you'll combine antenna expertise and system-level thinking to improve real-world network performance. You will investigate how base station antenna products and emerging network developments affect coverage, capacity and user experience, and contribute to the development of simulation tools used for system analysis. Working closely with R&D, product managers and cross-functional teams, you will drive studies on antenna and system requirements and translate technical findings into actionable product and network recommendations.
