Project business is the heart of our company and regarding financials you as a project accountant provide guidance and support for our commercial project community. From order intake over execution phase to revenue recognition, you are the trusted business partner, reliable service provider and contact person. Project Accounting is more than numbers, it is being part of successfully executing projects. Together with a dedicated team, where everybody cares for each other and is eager to learn, you will both have fun and make an impact.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Responsibility for the periodic financial statements relating to project business within Siemens Energy in line with IFRS and local GAAP
• Act as a reliable business partner for all project related inquiries, provide guidance for complex business models and perform reconciliations of construction projects
• Evaluate and assess new orders and contract constellations from an accounting perspective
• Act as contact person for auditors and tax authorities, being the interface to the business
• Support management in decision making and in evaluating complex business transactions
• Support the development and introduction of a new ERP landscape in your area of responsibility, focusing on accounting matters relating to project business accounting

What You Bring

• University degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or related field
• Long-term proven professional experience in the field of General Ledger Accounting
• Work experience of SAP advantageous for this role, preferably End-to-end understanding of accounting processes of projects in ERP landscape (e.g., SAP FI, CO)
• Knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP accounting
• Desire and motivation to work in an evolving and dedicated team as well as an open and communicative personality
• Full business proficiency in English and German
