Dormont Manufacturing Co in Germany is seeking a Retirement Client Advisor to generate new business opportunities and manage a defined customer portfolio. Jobbeschreibung

The Retirement Client Advisor generates new business opportunities and manages a customer portfolio defined in the business plan. This involves being the primary contact for new or existing customers, presenting formal product proposals, and maintaining ongoing prospects for new business development. This role focuses on building customer relationships and gaining loyalty by listening and responding to customers’ needs. Specific duties include: Deliver exceptional service in managing his/her book of business and building client relationships; Partner with internal Portfolio Management and Research to fully understand market narrative, manager selection and monitoring, strategy decisions, and effectively communicate recommendations; Regularly meet with clients for on‑going plan/investment reviews; Educate and communicate with clients about market conditions, plan/account investments, performance, strategy, changes in regulatory or tax environment, and other factors which may influence plan decisions; Provide consultation to plan sponsors on the development of a participant education program to support the client’s objectives; Facilitate or deliver participant education and advice; Create and maintain networking relationships to create a pipeline of business; Achieve annual new business revenue goals for assigned accounts and/or territory; Maintain client information in a CRM tool; Understand the benefits of products and effectively differentiate UMB’s Retirement Services from the competition; Provide interdisciplinary expertise to clients when needed while partnering with bank leadership and other departments; Complete annual E‑Learning Plan and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) training as assigned and keep up‑to‑date knowledge of BSA as it relates to the job function; and perform other duties as assigned.

Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Management, Finance or related field or equivalent work experience; 5‑7 years in the financial services industry with a minimum of 3 years specific experience in a sales role; broad knowledge of financial markets, asset allocation principles, and financial products; experience in investment manager selection and monitoring a plus; prior experience with DC retirement plans and understanding of regulations related to ERISA, DOL, and IRS; solid understanding of plan design, compliance and testing, and industry standards; good written/verbal communication, organization and client service skills; ability to maintain professional working relationships with internal and external clients; ability to interpret documents and resolve technical problems; critical thinking and problem‑solving skills to identify and recommend appropriate follow‑up action; Chartered Financial Analyst – CFA – CFA Institute a plus; Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) – Investment Management Consultants Association – IMCA a plus; Qualified Plan Financial Consultant (QPFC) – National Association of Plan Advisors a plus; and Certified Financial Planner – CFP – Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. a plus.

Compensation Ranges

US Employees in California, Washington DC, New Jersey, and New York:

$120,750 - $189,000

US Employees in Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin:

$110,250 - $173,030

US Employees in all other states not listed above:

$99,750 - $157,060
