  • Work with the Head of Retail to ensure adequate staffing levels, recruiting, developing and managing the shops/retail/distribution team, including temporary staff as required.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety across all shops, ensuring they operate in line with best practice and Society policies at all times, maintaining up to date documentation and reporting as required.
Continuous Improvement and Capability Building
  • Identify opportunities to improve the Society’s retail offering, sharing lessons learned and best practices.
  • Participate in training and development activities to enhance retail management skills and sector knowledge.
  • Actively engage with Charity Retail Ireland to maintain awareness of competitor activity and emerging opportunities.
  • Undertake other duties as required to support the successful delivery of the organisation’s strategic objectives.

This job description is not exhaustive; it merely acts as a guide and may be amended to meet the changing requirements of the Society at any time after discussion with the post holder.
