Description:

We are seeking a Biological-Technical Assistant / Biology Laboratory Assistant (f/m/d) for a full-time, 2-year position in our international research team. The successful candidate will perform molecular biological and cell biology standard methods including DNA/RNA/protein extraction and analysis, microscopy, ELISA, cell culture, immunoblotting, immunocytochemistry, and immunohistochemistry; prepare tissue samples using vibratome and cryostat; manage general laboratory organization (supplies, reagents, protocols, company interface); and support training of students and young scientists.

Requirements:

  • completed training as BTA/MTA, biology laboratory assistant certificate, or Bachelor’s degree in Biosciences
  • very good German and fluent English
  • practical experience with the above methods and MS Office
  • independent and structured working style
  • high responsibility and reliability
  • experience with animal experiments (FELASA certificate) is advantageous
