Job summary

Quantum Systems is seeking a Repair & Maintenance Production Planner who manages repair orders from acceptance to delivery, plans capacities, ensures material availability, and keeps our technicians productive. You will work closely with Production, Service and Logistics to maintain a smooth flow of work.

Fluent German and English are required; a technical or logistics-related training or degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Technical training or degree in a technical or logistics field is required.
• Experience in production planning, work preparation or repair operations.
• Strong Excel and ERP familiarity; ability to coordinate between workshop and other departments.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prioritize repair orders and manage lead times.
• Coordinate capacity planning with Team Lead and interfaces with Production, Service and Logistics.
• Ensure availability of spare parts and monitor material flow.
• Maintain ERP data and track deadlines and backlogs.
• Analyze KPIs like lead time and on-time delivery and drive improvements.

Job description

As a Repair & Maintenance Production Planner, you manage repair orders within our Repair & Maintenance department from initial acceptance through to delivery. You plan capacities and schedules, ensure material availability, and make sure our Repair & Maintenance Technicians can work efficiently without interruptions. In this role, you play a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Repair & Maintenance organization.

What is your Day to Day Mission:

• Plan and prioritize repair orders and manage lead times

• Coordinate capacity planning with the Team Lead and align with adjacent functions (Production, Service, Logistics)

• Ensure a smooth flow of materials: determine requirements, procure spare parts, and follow up on outstanding items

• Maintain order data in the ERP system and monitor deadlines and backlogs

• Analyze key performance indicators (lead time, on-time delivery, WIP) and identify and implement improvement measures

What you bring to the team:

• Technical vocational training with further qualifications or a degree in a technical or logistics-related field

• Experience in production planning, work preparation, or repair operations

• Confident working with ERP systems and Excel

• Structured and reliable approach to work, with a strong ability to coordinate between the workshop and other departments

• Fluent in written and spoken German and English
