Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough accessibility audits of web and mobile applications using tools such as Axe, WAVE, and Lighthouse.
- Verify alignment with global standards like WCAG 2.1/2.2, Section 508, ADA, and ARIA, and provide remediation guidance.
- Analyze interactive and dynamic content for assistive‑tech compatibility.
- Execute keyboard‑only navigation and color contrast validation; simulate scenarios for users with varying impairments.
- Utilize screen readers, including JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver, to test compatibility.
- Conduct exploratory testing to uncover dynamic interaction barriers.
- Integrate accessibility tests into CI/CD pipelines for ongoing validation.
- Generate detailed reports with actionable insights and communicate findings to developers, UX designers, and project leads.
- Retest resolved issues to confirm implementation and participate in agile ceremonies to support accessibility backlog refinement.
- Advocate for accessibility improvements across cross‑functional teams.

- Technical Proficiency
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and WAI‑ARIA attributes.
- Familiar with accessibility testing APIs, browser developer tools, and cross‑browser testing.
- Experienced with modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue (plus).
- Analytical Thinking
- Identify root causes of accessibility failures and suggest scalable solutions.
- Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and understanding of accessibility/usability intersections.
- Balance speed with precision in test environments.
- Communication Excellence

- Draft documentation and test case documentation; present to stakeholders.
- Certifications & Professional Development
- CPACC, WAS, or CPWA from IAAP preferred.
- Working knowledge of legal accessibility requirements.
- Commitment to growth and experience mentoring junior testers is a bonus.
