Assistant Vice President - ECB Regulatory Reporting (gn)

For our client, a leading global universal bank with its European headquarters in Frankfurt, we are currently looking for an Assistant Vice President - Regulatory Reporting (gn) to strengthen the Team.

The role focuses on supporting the development and delivery of ECB-related regulatory reporting activities. The position plays an integral part in ensuring compliance with evolving European banking requirements, contributing to assessments, stress tests, and supervisory exercises. This includes analyzing new regulations, preparing guidance for internal stakeholders, and supporting the implementation of regulatory change projects.

Task
  • Contribute to the analysis and interpretation of national and European regulatory requirements, with a focus on ECB-related topics such as AQR, SREP, STEs and stress testing.
  • Draft advisory material, briefings, and internal documentation for management and specialist departments outlining regulatory developments and their business implications.
  • Support the implementation of new or amended regulatory requirements, ensuring proper integration into systems and processes.
  • Participate in the creation of business and data requirement documents.
  • Execute and coordinate testing procedures, analyzing results and managing deviations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent and accurate regulatory reporting delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required; professional qualifications are considered an advantage.
  • Professional experience in regulatory reporting, ideally gained within a financial institution or consulting company.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements.
  • Structured and solution-oriented approach with attention to detail.
  • Independent working style combined with a hands-on mentality.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining technical topics clearly and precisely.
  • Business-fluent English; German is a plus.
