Zusammenfassung

Scalable GmbH, a fintech startup, seeks an experienced regulatory reporting specialist to lead end-to-end preparation of statutory reports and ensure timely, accurate submissions. You will collaborate with software engineers to automate processes and improve data quality.

You will assess new regulatory requirements, advise on strategic impact, and own reporting aspects in high-impact projects. English and German fluency is essential, with mentoring responsibilities for junior team members.

Qualifikationen

• Completed a degree, preferably with a focus on finance or banking.
• Several years of experience in a comparable role in the financial services industry.
• Exposure to reporting processes required for market-making activities desirable.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication and analytical skills.
• Enjoy working with large data sets, ideally have some experience with SQL and embrace new AI opportunities.
• Previous experience with the Regnology/Abacus platform is a plus.
• Work independently and thrive in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.
• Excellent command of both English and German, written and spoken.

Job Description

• Contribute to the end-to-end preparation and submission of our regulatory reports (including Pillar 1, EU and German statistical reporting, Pillar 2, transaction reporting, and more) with a focus on both accuracy and timeliness.
• Interpret and assess the strategic relevance of new regulatory requirements, ensuring our reporting processes remain fully compliant.
• Independently manage the continuous improvement, automation, and transformation of our processes, controls, and data quality, closely working with our software engineers.
• Take partial to full ownership for regulatory reporting aspects of high-impact interdisciplinary projects — such as new product and service offerings or expansion into new geographic markets.
• Act as a point of contact for internal and external auditors as well as regulators with respect to regulatory reporting and related matters.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous development.
