Suir Engineering Ltd. is seeking a Regional EHS Manager to oversee health and safety across projects in Frankfurt and Berlin. The role requires regular site visits and close collaboration with project teams.

You will drive compliance, lead a team of safety professionals, develop site EHS plans, train staff, and manage audits and incident investigations while contributing to the company’s safety culture and international projects.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in EHS management or lead role.
• Strong organisational and planning skills; able to work independently.
• Willing to frequently travel.
• Proven leadership and people management experience.
• Ability to implement change and open to constructive feedback.
• Ability to develop and deliver EHS presentations and workshops.

• Lead a team of Health & Safety Professionals ensuring effective implementation of company policy and procedure.
• Assist in achieving compliance with Health, Safety & Workplace Legislation.
• Meet and deliver objectives set in Performance and Development Review.
• Maintain compliance with Health & Safety legislation changes.
• Set up Site-Specific Construction EHS Plans and mobilisation prerequisites.
• Train Health & Safety Professionals to company standards.
• Become SME in Suir’s HRA’s and ensure control on every site.
• Promote the Suir Way and ISO IMS interfaces.
• Ensure effective use of PPE on all sites.
• Log hours in time-tracking systems and report IMS performance.
• Participate in Change Management and conduct site audits/inspections.
• Investigate incidents and report root causes.
• Coordinate with EHS Manager and external providers.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional EHS Manager to join Suir Engineering Ltd.

The Regional Manager will be responsible for ongoing projects in Frankfurt and Berlin. The successful candidate will be expected to visit sites on a regular basis.

The Regional EHS Manager will have involvement from the tender phase through to mobilisation, construction, commissioning, and delivery.

What you will be doing?

• Manage a team of Health & Safety Professionals ensuring effective implementation of company policy and procedure.
• Assist the EHS Manager in achieving Suir’s Critical Success Factor 1. ‘To ensure we are fully compliant in all Health, Safety & Workplace Legislation’
• Meet and deliver all objectives set and agreed in your Performance and Development Review.
• Keep abreast of any Health & Safety legislative changes and assist the EHS Manager in ensuring the company remains compliant.
• Ensure all new sites are adequately set up prior to mobilisation by ensuring a Site-Specific Construction EHS Plans are in place, permit process is agreed and understood etc.
• Responsible for effective training of all Health & Safety Professionals under your area of responsibility to a standard required by the company.
• Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in all of Suir’s Hight Risk Activities (HRA’s) and ensure that they are identified and effectively controlled on every site.
• Become familiar with and promote the ‘Suir Way’ and its interfaces with Health & Safety.
• Ensure effective use of Flex on all sites in your area of responsibility.
• Ensure team members are logging their allocation of hours in GaneTime.
• Ensure the ISO Integrated Management System in effectively rolled out on all site under your area of responsibility.
• Participate in Change Management when required.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of the sites.
• Report and Investigate incidents when they occur and ensure root causes are identified, mitigated and communicated.
• Report to EHS Manager on the performance of the IMS.
• Work with PPE providers to ensure the most suitable and cost-effective solutions.
• Any other reasonable and relevant duties as requested by the EHS Manager, necessary to meet the ongoing needs of the company.

• Suitable Candidates must have Relevant Health and Safety Degree.
• Minimum Level 8 Degree in EHS.
