Duties
- Works as an assistant for the Facilities Operations Team Leader who makes specific assignments, explains polices and procedures and reviews work for quantity and quality of completed projects.
- Job may require work in various facilities depending on requirements as determined by customer demand or programmed activities.
- Opens and/or closes facilities by locking/unlocking doors and windows, and assuring security system is operable.
- Issues/receives recreational equipment to authorized users. Collects applicable fees for items issued, accounts for monies collected safeguards funds and makes daily bank deposits.
- Cleans recreation equipment, supplies and facility area. Operates equipment and performs self-help maintenance on facilities and equipment. Prepares work order for maintenance which cannot be completed by self-help.

- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- Must be willing and able to work evenings, weekends, and Special MWR events.

- Have performed work that demonstrates the ability to perform the following duties: secure facility, issue equipment to customers, collect fees (ex: registration for trip, payment of rented equipment etc.), and monitor inventory (ex. Supplies, equipment etc.).
- Must have and retain a valid drivers license.

Area of Consideration
- The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is within the local commuting area. The local commuting area defined as within 100 km (60 miles) of Baumholder, Germany. PCS Costs
- Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
Allowances and Differentials
- This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
- Foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), incentives and differentials will not be paid, with the exception of post allowance, contingent upon eligibility.
