Air Apps in Lisbon seeks a React Engineer to build responsive, accessible UIs for our AI-powered PRP platform. You will translate designs into elegant front-end experiences, collaborating with designers, product managers, and backend engineers.

This onsite role offers relocation support, a competitive compensation range (€56K-€70K) and benefits including health insurance, pension, and a vibrant, inclusive culture.

• Experience building accessible, responsive front-end applications.

Responsabilités

• UI/UX implementation of high-quality, responsive interfaces.
• Develop and maintain front-end code using JavaScript frameworks and HTML5/CSS3.
• Improve performance, loading times, and user experience.
• Integrate with RESTful/GraphQL APIs for data flow.
• Follow WCAG accessibility best practices and SEO basics.
• Write unit/integration tests and participate in code reviews.

The Role

As a React Engineer, you will focus on building responsive and accessible user interfaces for our web applications. You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to translate wireframes and prototypes into elegant, stable, and scalable front-end experiences that delight our users.

• This is a fully onsite position, based at our office in Lisbon, where you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in person and contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. We are open to support with relocation efforts.

Responsibilities

• UI/UX Implementation: Implement high-quality, responsive user interfaces following design specifications, ensuring compatibility across multiple browsers and devices.
• Frontend Technologies: Develop and maintain code using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular), as well as HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously improve page load times, rendering performance, and overall user experience.
• Integration with APIs: Collaborate with backend teams to integrate with RESTful/GraphQL APIs and ensure smooth data flow between client and server.
• Accessibility and SEO: Follow best practices for accessibility (WCAG standards) and search engine optimization.
• Testing & Maintenance: Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests (e.g., Jest, Cypress) to maintain high-quality code, and participate in code reviews.

Requirements

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, around 3+ years of experience in front-end development.
• Core Skills: Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and experience with one or more modern web frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
• Tooling & Workflow: Familiarity with front-end build pipelines (Webpack, Rollup), version control (Git), and CI/CD practices.
