Jobtailor in the United States seeks an experienced healthcare billing professional to manage accounts receivable and revenue cycle tasks. You will handle unapplied payments, remits, coding, and posting while ensuring accuracy of daily/ monthly reports.

Proficiency in CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding, plus strong Excel skills, will support KPI tracking and variance analysis in a fast-paced environment.

• Research unapplied payments and credits.
• Post zero remits, negative remits, and forward balance remits.
• Pull remits electronically and manually for daily deposits.
• Post remits via ERA, EFT, and paper remits.
• Process check and credit card payments to accounts.
• Reconcile daily and monthly reports to avoid variance.
• Transfer balances to secondary, tertiary payor, and/or self-pay.
• Code and label accounts according to denial and CARC codes.
• Assist in maintaining RCM department KPIs/metrics.
• Manage payment posting projects.
• Ensure unapplied payments are allocated daily and monthly.
• Collaborate with RCM Managers regarding paid-not-posted payments and unapplied remits.
• Collaborate with the Finance team to resolve PLB and variance ledgers

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent; college preferred
