Knorr-Bremse in Munich leads a global AI Transformation & Delivery program under RAIL | GROWTH BEYOND. The role coordinates AI POD implementations, mentors Product Owners, and partners with business stakeholders to scale high-priority AI use cases across the organization.

You will enable governance, monitor progress, and drive measurable business impact. Fluency in English is required; German is a plus. The program emphasizes flexible work options and ongoing learning in a multinational setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Economics, Data Science).
• Strong project and delivery management skills required.
• Hands-on experience applying AI/GenAI to business transformation and impact.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate implementation activities across AI PODs and ensure transparency on progress, milestones, dependencies, risks, and decisions.
• Coach Product Owners in use-case planning, prioritization, and value realization.
• Partner with stakeholders and POD teams to scale priority AI use cases across the organization.
• Interface between implementation teams and governance structures; drive governance and reporting consistency.
• Support global rollout activities and track progress, adoption, and realized business impact.
• Identify dependencies and reuse opportunities across AI initiatives and domains.
• Prepare management reporting, business cases, and recommendations for governance.

RAIL | GROWTH BEYOND - AI Transformation & Delivery Project Manager (m/f/d)

You will be part of RAIL | GROWTH BEYOND, our global transformation program for the Rail division. The program aims to accelerate profitable growth, strengthen cost competitiveness, and drive AI-enabled business transformation across the organization. As part of the RAIL | GROWTH BEYOND Transformation Office, you will help turn these ambitions into measurable and sustainable business impact.

YOUR TASKS

• Coordinate implementation activities across AI PODs and ensure transparency on progress, milestones, dependencies, risks, and required decisions


• Support and coach Product Owners in use-case planning, prioritization, implementation readiness, stakeholder management, and value realization


• Partner with business stakeholders, Product Owners, and POD teams to implement and scale priority AI use cases


• Act as the primary interface between implementation teams, business stakeholders, and transformation governance structures


• Drive consistency across AI initiatives through common governance, reporting, rollout, and benefit-tracking practices


• Support global rollout activities and track implementation progress, adoption, and realized business impact


• Identify dependencies, synergies, and reuse opportunities across AI initiatives and business domains


• Support the Tech-enabled Initiative TO Lead in driving implementation, scaling, and value realization of AI initiatives


• Support AI enablement initiatives, including the AI Academy, Champion Network, and related capability-building activities


• Build and leverage AI-enabled tools and automations to improve implementation steering, reporting, portfolio transparency, and decision-making


• Prepare management reporting, portfolio reviews, business cases, and decision recommendations for governance bodies and senior leadership


• Escalate implementation obstacles and actively support their resolution in collaboration with Product Owners, POD teams, and business stakeholders

YOUR PROFILE

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Data Science, or a related field


• Strong project, stakeholder, and delivery management skills


• Hands-on experience applying AI and GenAI technologies to drive business transformation and operational impact


• Experience building and utilizing AI-enabled tools, automations, and decision-support solutions for implementation steering, performance tracking, and business management


• Experience supporting AI use-case delivery, rollout management, and value realization


• Strong understanding of digital products, data-driven solutions, and technology-enabled business transformation


• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders in complex environments


• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Fluent in English; German is an advantage
