• Associates or bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Science.
• Six months radiology experience preferred but not required.
• Registration or eligibility by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
• CPR certified and strong patient orientation.

Aufgaben

• Transports patients to and from the Radiology Department.
• Assist all patients on and off the x-ray/CT tables.
• Positions patients for specific diagnostic exam.
• Regulates and controls exposure of radiation to obtain a diagnostic radiograph.
• Assist Radiologist during fluoroscopic and special procedures.
• Documents proper patient history for all radiologic exams.
• Operates mobile x-ray equipment, CT and x-ray machines.
• Performs x-rays and CT scans on emergency callbacks, weekends, and holidays on a rotational schedule.

Part Time - Friday Evening (4:00pm - Midnight) and Wednesday - (Some Days)

Position summary: Primarily responsible for obtaining a diagnostic radiograph while maintaining patient care and safety.

General purpose: Patient care; quality assurance.

Role Qualifications

Education

• Associates or bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Science

Experience

• Six (6) months previous experience preferred but not required.

Licenses/Certificate

• Registration/registration eligible by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist.

Essential skills and experience

• Proper utilization of radiation equipment to minimize the hazards of extraneous radiation exposure.


• Strong patient orientation.
