Responsibilities

• Liaises with authorities and certifying bodies on all matters related to certification and compliance
• Acts as a focal point for internal and external audits and coordinates the resolution and closure of non‑compliance and corrective action(s)
• Manages and/or oversees the Quality Management System (QMS), processes, procedures, to ensure the organization’s compliance.
• Communicates, aligns and ensures the implementation of changes in RTX and Collins standards as well as in regulatory norms and standards
• Prepares and maintains Quality Manuals, Documentation and Processes.
• Ensures oversight of stamps and MRB authorizations
• Support Continuous Improvement initiatives (LEAN/CORE)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an advanced technical discipline or several years of equivalent professional experience in the aerospace sector
• Deep understanding of quality and aerospace standards ISO 9001, AS/EN 9100, EASA/EMAR ‑21 and ‑145, AQAP
• Knowledge of Safety Management System, ECSS standards is an advantage
• Deep understanding of the Collins Management System
• Very good (business fluent) written and spoken English and German skills
• Excellent communication skills with a high degree of persuasiveness, assertiveness, and persistence
• Independent and goal‑oriented way of working in an international environment
• Flexibility and ability to work in a team
