Our cutting‑edge technology is utilized by customers across the defense, national security, government, marine, and critical infrastructure protection markets worldwide.

At our office in Nuremberg, we are looking for a Quality Manager (m/f/d) starting as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Establish, implement, and continuously improve a Quality Management System (QMS) with the goal of achieving certification according to ISO 9001 / AQAP 2210
• Develop, introduce, and document quality policies, processes, and standards across the company, as well as analyze existing processes and identify areas for improvement
• Plan and conduct internal audits and support external audits during the certification process
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulatory requirements, and customer‑specific requirements (particularly in the defense sector)
• Collaborate closely with engineering, project management, and executive management teams to integrate quality standards across all business areas
• Train and raise awareness among employees on quality‑related topics
• Manage documents within the QMS framework
• Support in supplier evaluation and quality assurance activities

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, computer science, quality management, or a comparable qualification with several years of professional experience in quality management, ideally in a software company or in regulated industries (e.g., defense, aerospace)
• Proven experience in setting up and implementing a QMS, ideally including successful ISO 9001 and AQAP 2210 certification
• Strong knowledge of process management and continuous improvement methodologies, as well as experience with audit processes (internal and external)
• Proficiency with common tools for documentation and process management
• Familiarity with software development processes (e.g., Agile, V‑model) is preferred

High level of initiative and ability to work independently in a small‑company environment.

Fluent in English and strong communication skills across all organizational levels.
