CYBEX GMBH in Bayreuth is seeking a Quality Lifecycle Manager for Apparel to own quality and compliance across the product lifecycle. You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure high standards from development to production.

You bring a degree in textile or quality management, proven apparel QA experience, and knowledge of ISO 9001 and OEKO-TEX. You will lead planning, supplier QA, risk assessments and continuous improvement for global markets.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Textile Engineering, Quality Management, Supply Chain Management or a comparable field.
• Demonstrated professional experience in apparel quality management or production quality assurance, ideally within the apparel, sportswear or FMCG industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of textiles, materials, garment construction, testing methods and manufacturing processes.
• Proven experience in supplier quality management, audits and corrective action programs.
• Solid knowledge of ISO 9001, product compliance and relevant apparel standards, such as OEKO-TEX and GOTS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with a hands-on, detail-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across different levels of the organization.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.

• Take ownership as Quality Lifecycle Manager for Apparel, overseeing quality and product compliance across the lifecycle.
• Serve as central contact for Apparel quality and product compliance, coordinating with executives and cross-functional teams.
• Define and drive apparel quality standards and specs across the lifecycle.
• Lead Quality Planning, Validation & Verification through Product Development Process.
• Oversee quality processes across supply chain from suppliers to finished goods.
• Drive continuous improvement of Quality Management Systems across suppliers.
• Lead root-cause analysis and 8D problem resolution with CAPA actions.
• Support safe, compliant products for global markets and communicate regulatory changes.
• Evaluate test results and support product risk assessments with relevant teams.
• Build supplier relationships and drive supplier quality performance and accountability.
• Establish approaches for quality inspections, documentation and data-driven monitoring.
• Train internal teams and suppliers on quality standards and best practices.

Your seat to fill:

• Take ownership as the Quality Lifecycle Manager for the Apparel business, overseeing all quality and product compliance activities across the entire product lifecycle
• Act as the central point of contact and trusted source of information for all Apparel quality and product compliance topics, ensuring seamless communication between Executive Leadership and cross-functional teams
• Define and drive Apparel Quality standards and specifications across the product lifecycle, ensuring a consistently high level of perceived quality
• Lead Quality Planning, Validation & Verification throughout the Product Development Process (PDP)
• Oversee quality processes across the entire supply chain, from suppliers to finished goods, ensuring consistent standards from development through production
• Drive the continuous improvement of Quality Management Systems (QMS) across the supplier base
• Lead root-cause analysis and issue resolution, including 8D processes and effective corrective and preventive actions
• Support the development of safe and compliant products for global markets and ensure stakeholders are informed about relevant regulatory requirements and changes
• Evaluate test results and support product risk assessments in collaboration with relevant teams
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers and drive supplier quality performance, transparency and accountability
• Establish effective approaches for quality inspections, documentation and data-driven performance monitoring
• Drive knowledge sharing and continuous improvement by training internal teams and suppliers on quality standards and best practices
