Zusammenfassung

John Paul Construction seeks an experienced Quality Lead to drive the Project Quality Plan across a major mission-critical project in Frankfurt. You will work with project teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure compliance with German regulations, DIN standards, and Eurocodes, delivering a high-quality outcome.

The role requires strong QA expertise, ISO 9001 knowledge, and the ability to manage documentation, audits, and non-conformances while guiding continuous improvement

Qualifikationen

  • Degree qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience as a Quality Lead or similar on large-scale construction or mission-critical projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction QA processes and inspection requirements.
  • Knowledge of German regulations, DIN standards, Eurocodes, and QM systems.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 quality management and audits.
  • Experience managing quality documentation and inspection processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and quality management software.
  • English fluency; German language skills a plus.

Aufgaben

  • Lead the implementation and management of the Project Quality Plan throughout all phases of construction.
  • Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with company quality procedures, client requirements, project specifications, and applicable German regulations.
  • Monitor construction activities to verify compliance with approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and quality reviews to identify non-conformances and drive corrective and preventive actions.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and client representatives to resolve quality issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Manage quality documentation, including inspection records, test certificates, quality reports, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and close-out documentation.
  • Ensure materials, equipment, and workmanship comply with project specifications, DIN standards, applicable Eurocodes, and client quality requirements.
  • Support the handover process by ensuring quality documentation and project close-out records are complete and compliant.
  • Participate in project meetings, site walks, and client inspections, providing quality leadership and guidance to project stakeholders.
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives and best practices across the project team.

We are seeking an experienced Quality Lead to join our team on a major mission‑critical project in Frankfurt, Germany.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the Project Quality Management Plan and ensuring compliance with both company quality standards and German regulatory requirements.

Working closely with project teams, subcontractors, and client representatives, the Quality Lead will play a key role in driving a culture of quality excellence and ensuring the successful delivery of a high‑quality project.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, quality assurance processes, and inspection requirements.
  • Knowledge of German construction regulations, DIN standards, applicable Eurocodes, and quality management systems.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and quality auditing practices.
  • Experience managing quality documentation and inspection processes on complex construction projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within a multidisciplinary project team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software systems.
  • Fluency in English is essential; German language skills would be a distinct advantage.
