Qualifikationen

• Previous experience as Quality Manager in a Tier 1 or mission-critical contractor.
• Experience delivering data centre or other technically complex projects.
• Excellent understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Strong QA/QC procedures, ITPs, inspections and commissioning knowledge.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Lead Quality on One of Europe's Most Exciting Data Centre Programmes

We're currently partnering with a leading international main contractor that continues to expand its presence across the European data centre market.

Due to a number of major project awards, they're looking to appoint an experienced Quality Manager to join their team on a flagship hyperscale data centre development in Düsseldorf.

This is an outstanding opportunity to play a key role in the successful delivery of a technically complex, mission-critical project while joining a contractor with an exceptional pipeline of work across Germany and Europe.

The Role

Reporting to the Project Director, you'll take ownership of all quality-related activities across the project, ensuring works are delivered in accordance with company procedures, client specifications and the highest industry standards.

Working closely with construction, CSA, MEP, commissioning and client teams, you'll drive a culture of quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the project's Quality Management function from construction through to commissioning and handover.
• Develop, implement and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP).
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, company quality procedures and client requirements.
• Manage inspections, testing and quality assurance processes across all work packages.
• Review Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements and quality documentation.
• Manage NCRs, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Carry out internal audits and support external client audits.
• Work closely with subcontractors to ensure quality standards are achieved throughout the project.
• Support project teams in achieving first-time quality and reducing rework.
• Monitor quality KPIs and prepare reports for senior management and the client.
• Collaborate with commissioning teams to ensure a smooth transition from construction to operational readiness.
• Mentor and support project teams in promoting best practice across all quality activities.

About You

We're keen to speak with Quality Managers who can demonstrate:

• Previous experience working as a Quality Manager within a Tier 1 contractor or specialist mission-critical contractor.
• Experience delivering data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial or other technically complex construction projects.
• Excellent understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, ITPs, inspections and commissioning processes.
• Experience managing quality documentation, audits and compliance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to build positive working relationships across multidisciplinary project teams.
• A proactive approach with a passion for driving quality throughout project delivery.

Previous experience working on hyperscale data centres or mission-critical projects would be highly advantageous.
