As part of our industrialization program and the transition to high-volume satellite production, you will play a role in designing, implementing, and continuously improving quality processes and systems.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing quality initiatives for serial satellite production, from initial concept through successful deployment on the manufacturing floor
- Defining and establishing quality gates, including quality concepts, internal delivery agreements, checklists, and IT-supported workflows
- Supporting the design and build-up of a quality organization tailored to series production environments
- Analyzing requirements and implementing quality-related IT tools, supplier interfaces, and advanced measurement systems
- Driving the gradual introduction, validation, and optimization of new quality solutions within development and low-volume production projects
In addition to industrialization activities, you will support ongoing satellite development and prototype projects by ensuring the highest quality and compliance standards.
Your responsibilities include:
- Providing quality assurance support for satellite integration and testing activities in accordance with aerospace industry standards
- Verifying compliance of components, assemblies, documentation, and manufacturing processes
- Performing visual, mechanical, and documentation inspections on satellite hardware and assemblies
- Reviewing inspection results and granting approvals for subsequent integration and testing phases
- Working in cleanroom environments and supporting shift operations, environmental test campaigns (thermal vacuum, vibration, EMC, etc.), and launch preparation activities
- Supporting customer-site and launch-site activities when required
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline
- Professional experience in Quality Assurance and/or Quality Management within a serial production environment; experience with production ramp-up, or process design is highly valued
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, combined with sound decision-making abilities and a high degree of ownership
- Analytical thinking and a critical mindset with the drive to challenge and improve existing processes
- Enthusiasm for driving change and contributing to the development of scalable production environments
- Excellent proficiency in MS Office applications and AI-based productivity tools
- Experience in data analysis, reporting, and presenting technical project results to diverse stakeholders
- Calm, structured, and solution-oriented working style, including the ability to perform effectively under pressure during critical project phases
