Job summary

Schmersal Böhnke+Partner is seeking a Product Manager to monitor markets, define product lines, and drive launches. You will coordinate with international subsidiaries, plan trainings, and support the sales team throughout the product life cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or comparable training.
• Several years of professional experience in product management and sales.
• Knowledge of safety-related electrical circuits analysis.
• Familiarity with EC Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and relevant standards.
• Strong understanding of market and customer requirements.
• Team-oriented, communicative and independent.
• Willingness to travel; MS Office and SAP desirable.

• Independently monitor national and international market and competitive trends
• Conduct comparative analyses and develop product-related and business-related proposals and measures
• Define products, product lines, and related services; prepare market assessments in coordination with our international subsidiaries
• Planning and executing product launches
• Conducting internal and external training sessions
• Providing product support throughout the product life cycle and monitoring product performance
• Supporting the sales team with key accounts
• Developing product strategies
• Planning, representing the company at, and participating in trade Shows

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or comparable training

• Knowledge of the analysis of safety-related electrical circuits
• Knowledge of the EC Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and safety-related standards such as EN ISO 13849 and EN 14119

• Ability to work well in a team, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently
• Willingness to travel
• Knowledge of MS Office and SAP is desirable
