Job summary

Genan, headquartered with a plant in Dorsten, seeks a QHSE Supervisor – Global to drive energy management and QHSE across six European sites. The role combines strategic energy initiatives with hands‑on ISO implementation and cross‑functional collaboration in an international environment.

You will lead energy reviews, develop EnPIs, deliver trainings, and act as the QHSE ambassador across global teams. Fluent English and German are required, with travel expected 1–1.5 weeks per month.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field (must).
• Experience with Energy Management in a corporate environment.
• Knowledge of ISO 50001; preferably ISO 14001/45001/9001.
• Hands‑on mindset with structured, solution‑oriented approach.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong intercultural awareness and ability to work internationally.
• Willingness to travel internationally ~1–1.5 weeks per month.
• Fluent in English and German, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Take global responsibility for Energy Management across all six international sites in Europe.
• Conduct energy reviews, energy audits and general QHSE audits.
• Define and analyse Energy Performance Indicators (EnPIs).
• Develop, implement and monitor initiatives to improve energy efficiency and reduce CO2 emissions.
• Act as local QHSE representative and ensure ISO systems and other EHS activities are implemented.
• Deliver training and promote awareness on energy and QHSE topics.
• Collaborate closely with Plant Management, Operational Excellence, Technical Service teams and Production Employees.
