Job summary

Cyber Security training courses, a Financial Services oriented company in Frankfurt, seeks a Quality Assurance / Test Automation Manager to shape a modern QA function and lead a hands-on automation effort within a regulated tech environment.

You will define the test automation strategy, embed testing into CI/CD and work with software engineers, product managers and DevOps to raise release confidence and quality across UI, API, integration, regression and end-to-end tests.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with modern test automation tools and frameworks, API testing, CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments and DevOps practices.
• Experience within Financial Services or another regulated environment is highly desirable.
• Ability to lead QA professionals and influence senior Product, Engineering and Technology stakeholders.

Job description

We are supporting an established Financial Services company looking to hire a Quality Assurance / Test Automation Manager for a strategically important new digital product. This is a hands-on and technically focused QA leadership role, responsible for building a modern quality engineering and test automation approach across a complex, regulated technology environment.

You will define and drive the overall test automation strategy, establishing scalable automation frameworks across UI, API, integration, regression and end-to-end testing. Working closely with Software Engineering, Product and DevOps teams, you will embed automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, establish quality gates and drive a shift-left approach to testing. You will also work across cloud-native environments, microservices and modern application architectures, improving test coverage, release confidence and overall engineering quality.

The successful candidate must be technically strong and comfortable working closely with engineering teams rather than operating purely as a Test Manager or coordinator. You should have hands-on experience with modern test automation tools and frameworks, API testing, CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments and DevOps practices, alongside a strong understanding of test architecture and automation best practices. Experience within Financial Services or another regulated environment is highly desirable, combined with the ability to lead QA professionals and influence senior Product, Engineering and Technology stakeholders.
