Job summary

NGR Search Partners in Stade, Lower Saxony, Germany, seeks an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead the project-wide Quality Management System on a major industrial construction program. You will guide a multidisciplinary QA/QC team across construction, pre-commissioning and handover, ensuring adherence to contract requirements and standards.

The role requires 10+ years in QA/QC on large-scale industrial projects (Oil & Gas, LNG, petrochemical, EPC).

Qualifications

• Engineering or technical degree in Civil, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of QA/QC experience within major industrial construction projects.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, LNG, petrochemical, power generation or large-scale EPC projects.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary QA/QC teams on site.
• Strong knowledge of ITPs, NCRs, RFIs, quality dossiers and turnover documentation.
• Good understanding of ISO 9001, ASME, AWS, EN and API standards.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or similar Quality certification would be highly valued.
• German and/or Spanish would be an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Project Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, project specifications, contractual requirements and applicable international codes and standards.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary QA/QC teams, including engineers, inspectors, welding inspectors and document control personnel.
• Review and approve ITPs, Method Statements, Quality Plans and procedures.
• Manage site inspection and testing activities.
• Coordinate inspections with the project team, client representatives and third-party inspection agencies.
• Manage NCRs, SORs, CAPAs, quality notifications and Lessons Learned.
• Monitor quality KPIs, identify trends and implement corrective/improvement actions.
• Oversee quality documentation, including material certificates, welding records, inspection reports, test records, MDRs and turnover dossiers.
• Support Mechanical Completion, pre-commissioning, commissioning and final project handover.
• Act as the main Quality interface with the client and project stakeholders.

Job description

NGR Search Partners is looking for an experienced QA/QC Manager to join a major industrial construction project in Stade, Lower Saxony, Germany.

This is a site-based leadership position for a senior Quality professional with extensive experience across large-scale industrial, Oil & Gas, LNG, petrochemical, energy or EPC construction projects.

The successful candidate will take overall responsibility for the project’s Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities, leading a multidisciplinary QA/QC team and ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards and contractual requirements throughout construction, pre-commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Reinforced concrete structures
