• Data centre or mission-critical project experience preferred.
• Strong QA/QC processes and documentation knowledge.
• Experience with ITPs, ITRs, NCRs and quality records.
• Ability to read technical drawings and project specs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience managing subcontractors and suppliers.
• European data centre experience is a strong advantage.
• Relevant engineering, construction or quality qualifications beneficial.

Darwin Engineering are currently looking for an experienced QA/QC Manager to join a major data centre project in Germany.

Job title – QA/QC Manager

Client Location – Germany

Client Industry – Data Centre

Contract Length – Ongoing contract, 6 months (possible extension)

Contract Type – Freelancer

Project focus

You’ll be responsible for managing the QA/QC side of the project, making sure all construction and MEP works are being delivered to the required standards and specifications.

You’ll work closely with the project, engineering, construction, subcontractor and commissioning teams throughout installation, testing, commissioning and handover.

Key skills and Experience required

• Previous experience as a QA/QC Manager on large-scale construction or MEP projects.
• Data centre or other mission-critical experience is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of QA/QC processes and documentation.
• Experience with ITPs, ITRs, NCRs, inspections and quality records.
• Good knowledge of MEP installation, particularly electrical and/or mechanical works.
• Experience managing subcontractors and specialist suppliers.
• Experience supporting testing, commissioning and handover.
• Comfortable reading technical drawings and project specifications.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to take ownership of the QA/QC function and maintain high standards across the project.
• Relevant engineering, construction or quality qualifications are beneficial.
• Previous European data centre experience would be a strong advantage.
