Jobtailor in Hamburg is seeking a QA/Test Automation Engineer to design, implement and continuously improve our test automation strategy. You will build and maintain automated tests using modern frameworks, and integrate them into our CI/CD pipeline.

Collaborating with development, product management and specialist departments, you will analyze defects, document results and help shape our QA processes. Knowledge of Selenium, Cypress and other tools is highly valued, as is ISTQB certification.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or alternatively a relevant vocational training in the IT field
• Professional experience in software testing, quality assurance or test automation is an advantage
• Analytical mindset as well as a structured and solution-oriented way of working
• Self-initiative, strong teamwork skills and enthusiasm for technical challenges
• Knowledge of automated software testing and modern testing methods
• Experience with test tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, Jest, Postman, SoapUI, Cucumber, JMeter, Wiremock or comparable technologies
• Understanding of modern web applications and ideally experience with single-page applications (SPAs)
• Basic programming knowledge and experience creating test data are an advantage
• Ideally you hold an ISTQB certification
• Good German language skills, spoken and written (team language, at least C1 level)
