As a Python Backend Developer at Aiqwip, you will design and build scalable backend services that power intelligent applications. You’ll work closely with frontend engineers, clients, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into reliable, high-performance backend solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Django and FastAPI
• Build and manage RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
• Design efficient database schemas, write optimized queries, and manage migrations
• Collaborate with frontend teams to ensure seamless end-to-end functionality
• Work directly with clients to gather requirements and provide technical solutions
• Participate in client meetings and communicate trade-offs, risks, and progress
• Use GitHub for version control, branching, and collaboration
• Conduct code reviews and maintain high coding standards
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve system performance and reliability
• Contribute to deployment, scaling, and infrastructure improvements on Azure

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

• Experience using Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI for API testing and documentation
• Hands‑on experience with Docker for containerization and deployments
• Strong understanding of database optimization techniques
• Experience with GitHub workflows (PRs, branching, code reviews)
• Implementation of authentication, authorization, and session management
• Experience with SSO integrations (Okta, Azure AD)
• Exposure to email automation, calendar integrations, and Twilio-based communication
