AVILUS in Ismaning, Germany, is seeking an Aerospace Production Specialist – Prototyping to assemble, integrate, and test early-stage unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). You will build airframe, propulsion, avionics, and payload components and ensure compliance with aviation-oriented maintenance principles.
You will follow engineering drawings, perform functional checks on motors and electronics, document build steps, and support design modifications.

Our product universe spans three different platforms with maximum take-off weights of up to 1000 kg and characteristic dimensions of 8 m: The hexacopter Grille for medical evacuation, the multi-role rotorcraft Wespe for logistics and support operations, as well as the fixed-wing drone Bussard for surveillance and intelligence missions. All systems are powered by RasCore, our highly redundant, military-grade avionics system for safe operations within EASA’s Specific Category. Three aircraft, one mission: to bridge the gap between small UAVs and traditional manned systems.
The Aerospace Production Specialist – Prototyping is responsible for the assembly, integration, and testing of early-stage and pre-production unmanned aircraft systems (UAS).
This role supports the development of innovative UAS that are certified according to EASA’s Specific Category by building high-quality prototypes, implementing design changes, and ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with aviation-oriented maintenance principles and internal quality procedures.
