Quantum-Systems GmbH is seeking an Infield Service Technician to join the NEXUS Team and help deploy, operate, and service droneport systems at customer sites worldwide. You will work with engineers and the back office to ensure successful setup, testing and operation, including demonstrations and end-user training.

You will document installations, troubleshoot across hardware, software and communications, and travel domestically and internationally to support customers and improve system

Qualifikationen

• A technical background in mechatronics, electronics, robotics, aviation technology, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with hardware and software systems—ideally in UAV environments, automotive, industrial equipment or automation.
• Basic troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, and software components.
• Familiarity with embedded systems, sensor technology, or communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet, 4G/5G, GPS, UWB, Silvus) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and professionally in customer-facing roles.
• Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly, including internationally.
• Experience with drone flight operations, field deployment of technical systems, or UAV-related service work is a plus.
• Communication in English is second nature to you.

As a Infield Service Technician, you will be a key member of our NEXUS Team, enabling smooth deployment, operation, and servicing of our advanced droneport systems at customer sites around the world. With our world-class team of engineers and technicians you will play a pivotal role in pushing the boundaries of drone technology and ground-based autonomy. You will work closely with customers, engineers, training and our back-office support team to ensure the successful setup, testing, and operation of droneport infrastructure in the field. This includes operational drone demonstrations, training and test flights.

What is your Day to Day Mission:

• Commission and support the installation of NEXUS systems at customer locations.
