Alignerr is seeking a creative Prompt Writer (AI Training) to craft diverse prompts that push AI thinking and problem-solving. This fully remote, hourly contract role welcomes writers with strong language skills and an imaginative, analytical mindset.

No AI background required; you will work asynchronously on a schedule that suits you. The role focuses on generating questions, scenarios, and challenges to test AI capabilities, with strict adherence to style guides and quality standards.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone with strong writing skills and an imaginative, analytical approach to problem-solving. No technical background or AI experience required — just a sharp, creative mind and a love of language.

What You’ll Do

• Craft original, diverse, and challenging prompts across a wide range of topics, formats, and difficulty levels
• Design questions and scenarios specifically engineered to test AI reasoning, creativity, and accuracy
• Create prompts that probe for edge cases, potential errors, and safety concerns
• Follow structured style guides and prompt-writing frameworks to ensure consistency
• Iterate and refine prompts based on project feedback and evolving AI needs
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

• A creative thinker with strong written communication skills
• Naturally curious — you enjoy exploring diverse topics and asking interesting questions
• Able to write clearly and precisely across a broad range of subject areas
• Comfortable working within structured guidelines while still bringing originality
• Detail-oriented and open to feedback and iteration
• No prior AI, technical, or academic background required

Nice to Have

• Background in writing, journalism, education, research, or content creation
• Experience with logic puzzles, debate, philosophy, or critical thinking exercises
• Familiarity with AI tools or language models as an end user
