Zusammenfassung

Hitachi Energy in Mannheim seeks a Quality Assurance professional to support the project management team by ensuring quality across the value chain. You will drive maturity of processes, coordinate QA activities, and certify internal controls for project, supply, and site delivery.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, risk-based auditing, and continuous improvement to enhance customer satisfaction and profitability while maintaining a safe working environment.

Qualifikationen

• Ideally a university degree, preferably in engineering or qualitymanagement.
• Preferably 5 years of experience in projects, engineering, or quality-related roles.
• Ability to build, maintain, and influence effective working relationships within a large andcomplex organization.
• Strong communication skills, results-oriented mindset, and openness to new approaches and opportunities.
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt/Green Belt knowledge is an advantage.
• Fluent German and advanced English skills, any other language is a plus.
• Willingness to travel to our office and project locations (approx. 10% of the time).

The Opportunity

Ensures support to the project management team regarding all quality related issues on projects to support its objective achievement in terms of quality, supplier & subcontractor quality, and customers satisfaction. Leads the implementation, maturity assessment and improvement of all processes along the entire value chain to improve customer satisfaction and increase profitability in a safe working environment across the project.

How you'll make an impact

• Cooperating with the customer on Project Quality issues and ensuring ownership of actions to resolve it. Enabling and coaching all project team members to evaluate risks, problems and solutions from a quality and customer/stakeholder point of view
• Analyzing transferability of experience between projects as well as planning Quality Assurance activities to reduce all forms of risk. Collaborating with the project team to develop schedules, estimates, forecasts, and budgets for quality activities
• Applying project quality procedures and plans and ensuring appropriate implementationand compliance from the project team
• Certifying effective internal controls system (project, supply, site) is in place to verify that processes continue to meet customer and stakeholder requirements,validatingthat control plans are applied and effective in mitigating prioritized risks
• Performing audits on project delivery and ensuring the use of Quality data analytics in all aspects of the operation to identify risks, failures and nonconformances within the local business, its suppliers and customers. Ensuring that appropriate correctiveand preventive actions are taken, and solutions are managed toclosure

Your background

• Ideally a university degree, preferably in engineering or qualitymanagement
• Preferably 5 years of experience in projects, engineering, or quality-related roles
• Ability to build, maintain, and influence effective working relationships within a large andcomplexorganization
