Zusammenfassung

Trina Solar seeks a Project & Commissioning Manager to lead energy storage projects across Europe. You will coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors to execute commissioning plans and ensure smooth handovers to operations.

You will negotiate project delivery clauses, uphold safety standards (CDM), and drive testing protocols in line with market rules and contractual obligations. Strong communication and travel readiness are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• Experience managing project and commissioning work for electrical equipment in Solar PV/BESS or renewable projects.
• Experience adhering to safety regulations (CDM) in operations.
• Experience supervising site activities among contractors.
• Familiar with electrical standards, regulations, and legislation.
• Ability to adapt to dynamic conditions and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to interface with multiple parties.
• CSCS card holder or equivalent.
• MS Office, SCADA and MODBUS experience is a plus.
• Willing to travel to support the Energy Storage fleet.
• Languages: Fluent English and Italian, German or other languages are a plus.

• Lead efforts to achieve COD and handover from delivery/construction to O&M.
• Ensure supplier/contractor compliance with H&S policies.
• Develop and implement testing protocols per market rules, DNOs, and contract obligations.
• Produce project progress reports and risk matrices.

Responsibilities

• Manage project and commissioning works of Trina’s energy storage projects in the Europe cooperating with internal teams, suppliers and contractors
• Support Trina’s project execution efforts by developing and executing commissioning plans
• Manage and negotiate contracts with customers in terms of project delivery clause
• Lead project effort to achieve commercial operations, and handover from delivery/construction team to the O&M team for each project
• Comply with company policies, ensuring supplier and contractors follow up H&S regulations
• Develop and execute testing protocols based on market rules, DNO requirements and contractual obligations
• Produce project progress reports and project‘s risk matrix

Requirements

• Suitable engineering degree or qualifications
• Related experience in managing project and commissioning work of electrical equipment in the context of Solar PV and/or Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects or other renewable energy projects.
• Must have experience on adhering to safety regulations (CDM) in an operational setting
• Strong experience supervising site activities amongst different contractors
• Familiar with related electrical standards, Regulations and Legislation
• Ability to adapt to dynamic conditions and stay focused/execute on goals under tight deadlines
• Highly developed interpersonal skills with ability to interface with multiple parties (contractors, suppliers, client representatives)
• CSCS card holder or eq.
• Excellent MS Office capabilities, SCADA and MODBUS experience will be a plus;
• Must be willing and able to travel in support of existing & new Energy Storage fleet
• Passion for your work, strong communication skills, a flexible and positive attitude, structured and dedicated way of working
• Languages: Fluent English and Italian / Germany any other addition language will be a plus
