Project Manager – Subsurface Asset Manager (m/f/d)

We are looking for you to join our growing team in Karlsruhe as a full‑time (40 hours per week) Project Manager – Subsurface Asset Manager.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain, and deliver the field development plan for the company's first major capital project.
• Oversee well delivery, monitor drilling and completion performance, and ensure well designs fully meet subsurface and operational requirements.
• Consolidate short‑ and long‑term production forecasts, integrating data across reservoir, wells, and facilities to support accurate performance and planning.
• Identify technical uncertainties, lead risk mitigation and contingency planning, and drive schedule, budget, and technical integration across Reservoir Development, Production, Wells, Facilities, HSE, and Commercial teams.
• Lead reserves estimation, secure third‑party certifications, and maintain alignment between reservoir models, field development plans, and business objectives.
• Mentor and coordinate a multi‑disciplinary subsurface team, fostering a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and safe operations, while providing regular performance updates and decision‑support materials to senior management and investors.

Qualifications

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Geoscience, Petroleum, or a comparable field.
• 15+ years of experience in Petroleum/Geothermal Engineering or Geoscience with field development and major capital project execution experience.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver large capital projects from concept to production while managing cost, schedule, and risk.
• Fluent in English; German knowledge is a plus.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented, and a true team player, even under pressure.
