Zusammenfassung

LVI Associates is seeking a seasoned project leader to drive full lifecycle EPC delivery for photovoltaic and battery storage projects in Germany. You will oversee tendering, construction and commissioning, ensuring cost, schedule, quality and HSE targets are met while coordinating with international teams and regulators.

You will bring proven EPC project management experience, strong commercial acumen and PM certifications, with fluency in German and English to interface with clients, grid

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience in project management within EPC environments.
• Strong track record delivering renewable energy projects across full lifecycle.
• Solid understanding of project delivery KPIs including cost, schedule, quality and HSE.
• Experience in tendering / pre-construction phases with technical input and budget validation.
• Good knowledge of EPC contracts (FIDIC, VOB) and managing contractual aspects.
• Strong stakeholder management with clients, contractors, authorities and grid operators.
• Understanding of the German renewables market, including grid connections and EEG/regulatory framework.
• Commercial awareness with budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
• Degree in Engineering; PM certifications (PMP/PRINCE2) are a plus.

Aufgaben

• Full lifecycle project management of PV & BESS EPC projects from tendering to construction and commissioning.
• Own cost, schedule, quality and HSE performance across projects.
• Manage EPC contracts and subcontractors; coordinate with international teams.
• Lead risk management, reporting, and stakeholder interfaces with clients and authorities.
• Ensure delivery to time, cost and quality standards; supervise multidisciplinary teams.

Desired Skills and Experience

Proven experience in project management within EPC environments, ideally across solar PV and/or BESS projects

Strong track record delivering renewable energy projects (utility-scale or C&I) across the full lifecycle (engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning)

Solid understanding of project delivery KPIs, including cost control, schedule management, quality, and HSE performance

Experience working on tendering / pre-construction phases, including technical input, budget validation, and execution strategy development

Good knowledge of EPC contracts (e.g. FIDIC, VOB) and experience managing contractual and commercial aspects of projects

Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interface with:

• Clients
• Contractors / suppliers
• Grid operators and local authorities

Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring delivery to time, cost, and quality standards

Good understanding of the German renewables market, including:

• Grid connection processes
• Permitting
• Regulatory framework (e.g. EEG)

Strong commercial awareness, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control (P&L responsibility)

Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Civil or similar); project management certifications (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus

Fluent in German and English, with the ability to operate in an international environment
