Job summary

WSP Deutschland GmbH in Germany is seeking a Senior Project Manager for construction to lead complex logistic-building projects nationwide. You will join a multidisciplinary team and blend classic project management with on-site execution, coordinating clients, planners, contractors and technology partners.

The role emphasizes delivering on time, within budget and to the highest quality, with travel across Germany.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil engineering, architecture, industrial engineering or similar.
• Several years of experience (approx. 5-7+ years) in project management / project control / construction management in building construction.
• Sound knowledge: HOAI, AHO, VOB.
• Extensive experience in construction or construction management.
• Confident handling of common PM tools and MS Office (e.g. cost and schedule controlling).
• Willingness to travel regularly within Germany depending on the project.
• Assertiveness, communication skills and entrepreneurial thinking.
• Very good knowledge of German and English.

Responsibilities

• Independent management and cooperation in building construction projects across all project phases (according to AHO Issue 9).
• Assumption of clearly defined project responsibility in interdisciplinary teams, including development and management of these.
• Ensuring cost, deadline and quality targets as well as compliance with VOB and safety standards.
• Coordination of all project participants (builders, planners, authorities, companies) and the executing companies.
• Close support of the construction work on site, including management of the construction management.
• Participation in construction meetings, acceptances and defect management.
• Independent implementation of tenders, awards, bid evaluations and support with approvals.

Due to our order situation in the field of logistics construction, WSP DeutschlandGmbH wants to strengthen its staff. We are currently looking for a senior project manager for construction (all gender). We attach great importance to your flexible deployment in exciting Germany-wide projects.

In this role, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team and combine classic project management with operational proximity to the construction site. In doing so, you will act as a central interface between all project participants.

As Project Manager, you will play a key role within an international team, coordinating clients, planners, contractors and technology partners to deliver this complex, high-profile project safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Your New Role, What Does It Include
