OHB System AG in Bremen is seeking a Project Manager (m/f/d) to lead complex customer projects in the aerospace sector. You will own schedules, budgets, and performance, acting as the main interface between customers, suppliers, subcontractors, internal teams and senior management.

You will shape objectives with leadership, manage cross-functional teams, mitigate risks, and report progress with clarity. Occasional national and international travel is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in engineering with relevance to aerospace, mechanical or similar field.

Your Tasks

• Take overall responsibility for the successful planning and delivery of complex customer projects with regard to schedule, cost, quality, and performance
• Act as the primary interface between customers, suppliers, subcontractors, internal stakeholders, and senior management
• Define and align project objectives, strategies, and technical requirements in close cooperation with customers and company leadership
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans while ensuring on-time project delivery
• Build, lead, and develop cross-functional project teams, fostering effective collaboration and high performance
• Coordinate internal and external project partners, including the selection and management of subcontractors
• Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks and opportunities while driving effective change management processes
• Provide regular project controlling, status reporting, and transparent communication to all relevant stakeholders

Your Qualifications

• Successfully completed degree in an engineering discipline such as aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field
• Several years of experience in project management, ideally within the space, aerospace, or other high-technology industries, including the leadership of complex technical projects
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools combined with a solid understanding of relevant standards, processes, and commercial aspects
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to balance technical, schedule, cost, and quality requirements effectively
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with confidence in interacting with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
• Proven leadership experience and the ability to motivate, develop, and guide cross-functional teams toward successful project delivery
• Structured, solution-oriented, and proactive working style combined with strong decision-making skills, customer focus, and a business-minded approach
• Willingness to travel regularly, both nationally and internationally
