Overview

We are looking for a qualified and experienced EI&C Technology Project Manager (m/f/d) to join the Hydrogen team in the Engineering department at the Kassel site as soon as possible.

What You Will Do

• Project Manager in the areas of Electrical, Instrumentation and Control (EI&C) and Process Control Technology (PCT) for the SEFE Storage project JemgumH2
• Responsible for the development of the EI&C and PCT project requirements and boundary conditions for the brine, gas blanketing and gas operating systems
• Assume responsibility in the project organization
• Control and coordination of engineering offices and other service providers and suppliers during the planning phase, installation and commissioning of the EI&C and process control system components
• Reviewing and optimizing reports, specifications and services and ensuring that they comply with guidelines, standards, regulatory and SEFE requirements
• Responsibility for the project plan and for cost and budget control
• Reviewing specifications for EI&C and process control trades and services with regard to SEFE standards and requirements
• Managing the interfaces in the field of EI&C between the project phases and with the other
• Technical negotiations with suppliers and service providers, development of contract strategies, support of purchasing in commercial negotiations
• On-site construction/commissioning supervision for EI&C issues may be required

What You Will Bring

• University degree (Uni/FH) in electrical or automation engineering or a comparable qualification
• Proven professional experience as a project manager with a focus on electrical engineering and process control technology
• Sound knowledge of project management
• Sound knowledge of the specific requirements for EI&C and process control technology on underground gas storage facilities (ATEX, SIL)
• Knowledge of the relevant standards, regulations and guidelines
• Knowledge of the requirements of the KRITIS regulation is an advantage
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Proactive, structured and independent way of working with high quality standards
• Willingness to travel on business (approx. 3-4 times per months)
• IT skills (Word, Excel, MS-Project, PowerPoint)
• Fluent German and good written and spoken English
• Class B driving license
