Statkraft is hiring a Project Manager Construction Wind Onshore (f/m/d) in Germany. The role supports late-stage development and construction of large wind and BESS projects in Germany, reporting to the Delivery Director for Germany.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure HSSE compliance while coordinating with regional and corporate interfaces. A driving license and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in engineering or natural sciences with extensive experience.
• 5+ years in managing wind projects or BESS during late-stage development and construction.

• Strong technical understanding of wind energy technology and contract negotiation.

The business area “Technology and Project Delivery” drives value creation through optimising project delivery, procurement, operational excellence and leveraging IT & digitalisation. The business area is also responsible for ensuring a workplace without injury or harm.

We are currently looking to recruit an office based or hybrid Project Manager Construction for Onshore Wind and BESS (Battery Electrical Storage Systems) to strengthen the business area’s Project Delivery Unit. The team is responsible for the project execution of large-scale infrastructure renewable projects of onshore wind, both greenfield and repowering, and BESS in Germany. You will report to the Delivery Director for Germany.

As a Project Manager your main responsibilities will be:

• Managing multiple wind projects or BESS during late-stage development and construction, including organising, leading, and ensuring efficient project management and administration.
• Management and ccoordination of integrated project team including external consultants, contractors and service providers.
• Ensuring continuous planning and follow up of cost, time, quality, risks and reporting on projects status to senior management,
• Implementing Health, Safety, Security and Environmental (HSSE) requirements and ensuring HSSE compliance including Project Health & safety monitoring, reporting including managing planning & environmental permit conditions for the project.
• Ensuring internal communication, cooperation and coordination between the different staff members of the Project and with other parties with interface to the Project (Region, Country and Corporate),
• Ensuring efficient and regular project meetings and recording of minutes and agreed actions. This includes (but is not limited to) general internal project reporting, tracking of project spend & progress, tracking of project payments & variations and various project management documentation compilation and maintenance,
• Having a good overview of electrical and civil infrastructure and managing interfaces between civil, electrical BOP (Balance of Plant) and wind turbines or BESS,
• Managing claims

• University degree in engineering or natural sciences with documented extensive experience,
• More than 5 years work experience in managing wind projects or BESS particular during the late-stage development and construction phases,
• Demonstrated experience of managing project budgets, schedules, quality and risks from late-stage development to construction phase,
• Demonstrated experience of managing claims,
• Strong technical understanding of wind energy technology withexperience in negotiating and understanding supply contracts with complex technical appendices,
• Excellent project management skills and the ability to plan, organize and prioritise tasks independently,
• Strong communication, relationship building and good managementand organisational skills,
• Excellent communication skills in German and English,
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel within Germany, usually for one to three days
