GE Vernova is seeking a Project Engineer (m/f/d) for our Grid Systems Integration team. You will manage structured proposal preparation, leverage installed base, and transition projects into sustainable service contracts in line with SQDC principles.

The role combines revenue-focused activities with warranty and project interface work, requiring collaboration with the Project Manager and key stakeholders. Fluency in German and English is essential for customer and internal communications.

• Revenue-focused role comprising 70% of time with warranty phase and project interface 30%.
• Provide interface with the Project Manager to support project completion.
• Coordinate key interfaces with stakeholders to close open punches and warranty scope.
• Use technical experience and data analysis to inform engineering decisions.
• Create, review and release work permits for site actions as SPOC.
• Schedule and plan resources, coordinating campaign issues with the client.
• Support procurement of materials and goods as needed.
• Lead sales activities to support installed base and provide quotations to customers.

Job Description Summary

As the world shifts toward more sustainable energy sources, GE Vernova's Grid Systems Integration (GSI) focuses on integrating complex power technologies to create grids that are more resilient, efficient, and reliable. The service organization within the GSI business line delivers comprehensive asset management, field operations, and technical support. It covers key segments like HVDC, FACTS, ACIS, and GIS substation systems.

To develop and scale our service business, we are looking for a Project Engineer (m/f/d) to manage structured proposal preparation, leverage our installed base, and systematically transition projects into sustainable service contracts—all in accordance with SQDC principles.

Job Description

Your Responsibilities:

• This role is a combination of Revenue Focus (70% of work time) and Warranty Phase & Project Interface (30% of work time)
• Providing interface with the Project Manager to support completion of the project
• Coordinating and managing key interfaces with dedicated stakeholder to close open punches and project warranty scope with focus on platform and platform auxilliaries
• Using technical experience and expertise and data analysis as a basis for Engineering decisions
• Creation, review and release of work permits (AES, MS, RA) for the item closing site actions to client as SPOC
• Scheduling and resource planning (Issue campaign planning to client)
• Supporting the procurement of materials and goods as needed
• Leading sales activities to support installed base and providing customers with quotations boosting the revenue growth
