Zusammenfassung

National Energy Action is seeking a motivated Project Development Co-ordinator to lead energy efficiency and community outreach projects across the North-East and Yorkshire. You will engage stakeholders, manage outputs and contribute to funding proposals while travelling regionally and occasionally beyond.

The role offers hybrid working with a Newcastle base, a salary of £35,017 to £39,829 per year, and a range of benefits including a pension and generous leave.

Jobbeschreibung

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Project Development Co-ordinator working in the North-East / Yorkshire area. You will play a key role in delivering NEA's work programme across the region, leading on stakeholder engagement, community outreach and direct support to low-income and vulnerable households. Travel within the region and occasionally beyond will be required. This is an exciting opportunity to:

  • Lead and deliver impactful projects during a critical time for household energy needs
  • Build strong partnerships with local authorities, housing providers and community organisations
  • Provide one-to-one energy and fuel debt advice to householders
  • Deliver group awareness sessions and upskilling activities
  • Oversee project outputs, outcomes and reporting to funders
  • Support the development of new programmes, including funding proposals and presentations

Your work will directly contribute to improving health, wellbeing and energy resilience for those most at risk.

  • £35,017 to £39,829 per annum (Levels 6-7, Points 23 - 28). New appointments will usually begin at the starting point of the scale.
  • 11½% non-contributory pension.

  • Knowledge of domestic energy efficiency (desirable)

This role is ordinarily hybrid, based at NEA's Newcastle office, but we can offer hybrid or fully remote working depending on your home location. Some national travel will be required from time to time to meet partners and attend events. The successful post holder will also be expected to travel throughout the North East and Yorkshire to meet stakeholders and deliver community outreach activities. Hybrid and home working arrangements are subject to necessary health and safety and GDPR checks. Post holders must be resident within the UK and be able to provide their Right to Work in the UK. Due to the nature of this role, successful candidates will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
