Edwards Ltd in Bristol, UK, seeks a senior Project/Programme Manager to lead complex technical programmes, coordinating multi-year workstreams across engineering and product teams.

You will manage RAID, deliver milestones, provide governance reporting, oversee change control, and mentor project managers, with hybrid work between remote and on-site in Bristol. Experience in global teams and MS Project is required.

Qualifikationen

• Recognised project or programme management qualification (APM PMQ/Prince2) or equivalent experience.
• Educated to Degree level in a suitable technical discipline.
• Significant experience managing complex technical programmes spanning multiple years, with software content.
• Experience influencing and managing across global teams at multiple organisational levels.
• Ability to analyse complex programme requirements and generate a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
• Experience with RAID logs and project planning tools (e.g. Microsoft Project).
• Demonstrated leadership, ownership and accountability for outcomes.

• Provide clear, consistent project reporting into governance forums (e.g., CPR).

• Lead and mentor project managers and associate project managers; coach on best practices.

• Have significant experience of managing complex technical programmes or projects spanning multiple phases/years to time, spec, and cost and have experience in managing projects with software content (Essential).
• Must have demonstrated experience of influencing and managing across global teams (Essential).
• Must have excellent influencing and negotiation skills at multiple organisational levels (Essential).
• Must be able to analyse complex programme requirements and generate a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) as part of high-level programme definition (Essential).
• Experience of project planning tools (such as Microsoft Project), processes and methodologies (Essential).
• Experience of RAID logs (Risk, Actions, Issues and Decisions) (Essential).
• Able to set the standard and hold people accountable to deliver (Essential).
• Displays clear leadership and willing to take ownership and control of a situation and bring people with them even though they may not functionally report to them (Essential).
